Young Poor Artists Show is an annual contemporary art event in Lithuania presenting a groundbreaking curatorial statement.
For 2015 Young Poor Artists choose to show up in more restrained, mature but no less dangerous and provocative way. This time contemporary art show finds its place in Umiastowski palace, Trakų g. 2 (how to find?). Young Poor Artists explores contemporary art processes and creates the possibility to glance at art through so-called neutral lens. However visitors who wish to remain passive are unlikely to succeed. Umiastowski palace is historically unique site. For a long time it was in the artists spotlight due to the exceptional architectonic and aesthetic reasons as well as convenient geographic location. This year’s events (May 27th to June 6th) will offer an opportunity to value daily changing solo exhibitions and artworks with the program presenting both young and well known artists. Don’t miss to experience a rich and constantly growing art collection.
